Elizabeth Furber – Founder, Managing Partner High Street Advisors, LLC
Elizabeth Furber is the founder of HSA with 30+ years industry experience and is a registered representative of First Dominion Capital Corp. with Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Prior to HSA, she was a Vice President in the Investment Services Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Before joining DLJ, she was a Vice President at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in Private Wealth/Middle Market Institutional Sales, Derivatives Trading, IT, and Internal Audit. Prior to Kidder, Peabody, she was an associate in Mortgage-Backed Securities Research at Goldman, Sachs.
Ms. Furber is co-founder of the Boston Alternative Investments Networking Group, and a past Director of the NY Financial Analysts and Money Managers Society. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Science from Manhattan College and received an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Ms. Furber is an active Board Director at Wellspring House, Gloucester MA and Co-Head of the Finance Committee. Liz lives in Essex, MA is married with 3 children and enjoys tennis, golf, boating and skiing.
Susan Burr – Director of Operations High Street Advisors, LLC
Susan Burr has over 25 years in the financial industry with a well rounded business focus including management, compliance, and administration. Prior to working at HSA, Susan held positions at Morgan Stanley and Bank of Boston.
Ms. Burr is active in supporting Pan Mass Challenge raising money for cancer and has held board positions for several local non profits. Ms. Burr lives in Manchester, MA and has 3 children who share her passions for running, cycling, tennis, and hiking. Susan is a graduate of Champlain College.
